Poker Night with Strangers (Beginner-Friendly)
Join us for a relaxed social night in Brussels where poker is just a fun way to break the ice, laugh, and meet new people around the table.
How it works
- The Curation Form: Right after booking, you’ll fill out a fun, storytelling questionnaire. Your answers will reveal your event personality.
- The Secret Location: The exact bar in Brussels will be shared with you 2 days before the event.
- The Warm-Up: When you arrive, our hosts will guide you to a table matched with people who made similar choices. Break the ice with our conversation cards and order your drink.
- The Game: We’ll explain the rules from scratch before starting, then set up the tables. You’ll play, rotate, and meet different people throughout the evening in a 100% chill, non-competitive atmosphere.

Warning
Food & drinks are NOT included. You just pay the bar for whatever you decide to eat and drink. This is a social game night, not a real tournament. No real money is gambled! Your ticket strictly covers the organization, curation, material, and hosting.

Absolutely. Most people do. Dear Strangers is designed for people who want to meet new faces, so coming alone is completely normal.
After booking, we’ll send you the important details by email and/or WhatsApp, including the exact location, time, and anything you need to know before coming.
Tickets are usually non-refundable, as spots are limited and we prepare each event in advance. If something happens, message us on Instagram and we’ll do our best to help.
Most Dear Strangers events are international, so English is usually the main language. But you’ll often hear French and other languages too.
Mostly expats, locals, young professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, students, and people who simply want to meet new people in Brussels. You don’t need to fit a specific profile — just come open-minded.
