The Experience
A slow Saturday afternoon in the garden, built around good food, drinks, games, and new people.
We’ll gather at the Dear Strangers House for a backyard BBQ and picnic-style evening, with quality meat from a local caterer, fresh sides, drinks, and everything you need to share a proper meal together.
The idea is simple: enjoy the start of the sunny season, meet people naturally, play a few games, and let the afternoon turn into an open-air night if the weather allows.
Think garden, food, conversations, music, and the feeling of a big picnic with friends, even if you arrived as strangers.

Dear Strangers exists to make meeting new people feel natural again.
In adult life, meeting new people can feel harder than it should. We often stay within the same circles, see the same faces, and wait for connection to happen by accident.
So we create social experiences where strangers can meet naturally, share a moment, and leave with more than just a night out. Different cultures, backgrounds, stories, and personalities, brought together in the right setting.
FAQ
Absolutely. Most people do. Dear Strangers is designed for people who want to meet new faces, so coming alone is completely normal.
After booking, we’ll send you the important details by email and/or WhatsApp, including the exact location, time, and anything you need to know before coming.
Tickets are usually non-refundable, as spots are limited and we prepare each event in advance. If something happens, message us on Instagram and we’ll do our best to help.
Most Dear Strangers events are international, so English is usually the main language. But you’ll often hear French and other languages too.
Mostly expats, locals, young professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, students, and people who simply want to meet new people in Brussels. You don’t need to fit a specific profile — just come open-minded.
